Team:

Tyler Mahoney

Tyler was born on July 15, 1991 in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was raised in Lee’s Summit, an hour away from the first farm his dad, Tim Mahoney, owned near Windsor, MO.  His father got him started in the outdoors at the early age of 2 and took him on his first deer hunt at 5 years old.  He killed his first deer, a doe, at the age of 12 on the family’s second property, a 740 acre farm in Warsaw, MO.  He killed his first 8 point buck shortly after.  His sister, Katie Mahoney, harvested her first 8 point buck when she was 8 years old.  Needless to say, she has never let him live that down.  Tyler attended Rockhurst High School in Kansas City where he flourished academically and athletically.  He graduated with over a 4.1 cumulative GPA and was part of the state championship football team in 2007.  He went on to Rockhurst University and attained a BSBA with a focus in Accounting/Finance and then completed his MBA with a focus in Management.  At Rockhurst University, he was heavily involved within the school community and was even elected President of his fraternity.  Although he was dedicated to his schoolwork, Tyler was even more dedicated and passionate about the outdoors.  He never lost sight of his dream to someday be a respected personality in the outdoor world. As a student, he was the Missouri Outdoor Communicators’ Buck Rogers Memorial Scholarship winner for the creation of Mahoney Outdoors Magazine and was featured on “The Outdoor Guys” ESPN radio show. Since then he has continued growing the Mahoney Outdoors brand on social media and has been featured on the North American Sportshow and sharetheoutdoors.com.

Ryan “Milo” Miloshewski

Ryan was born August 19, 1990 in St. Louis, Missouri. As soon as he was able to hold a rod and reel, his grandpa and uncle had him fishing for trout in Lake Taneycomo’s fabled waters. From that point on, fishing was a major part of his life, and he has traveled from Cape Cod to Wyoming to fish for trout, bass, and various other species. He has always had a passion for the outdoors, but it wasn’t until 2004 (age 14) that he got into hunting. A late season muzzleoader hunt and exciting encounter with a buck had him hooked for life. His first deer, a doe, was taken in 2006. His first buck was harvested in 2008 during bow season. Since then, many deer and turkey have fallen to Milo’s bow or shotgun. Ryan graduated from Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis and continued his education at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. He joined and became an important part of his fraternity, serving as high as vice president, and graduated with a degree in Biology and Communications. In addition to his degree, Ryan won the Barbara Wynne Most Outstanding Biology Student award in his senior year.  Ryan met Tyler in 2010, and an immediate bond arose, as both are driven, successful individuals who have a passion for the outdoors. Soon after, Mahoney Outdoors was founded and Ryan has played a huge role in its growth with his popular columns titled “Whitetail Weekly with Ryan Miloshewski” and “Turkey Talk with Ryan Miloshewski.”
